I’ll be talking about writing CLI applications in PHP, specifically geared towards migrating heavy processes that would typically be written “inline” (during the web request) into efficient multi-process applications that can run in the background. It’ll include interprocess communication, shared memory usage, and dealing with an asynchronous back-end process from your front-end code. Should be fun, but a lot to stick in an hour.
