The Campaign Trail
While the nation waits for the next step in the Presidential election, an entirely different campaign is coming to close. Of arguable significance, the Pats kept their season alive with a — becoming routine — win over the Jaguars last weekend, and will face the San Diego Chargers this weekend.
Can you tell who we’re voting for?
(In other news, I almost attended an Obama… rally, I guess? Unfortunately, it was after work so I didn’t get there quite as early as I must’ve needed to. I couldn’t find a parking spot, and the line was winding through the parking lot. I gave up.)
Haha, awesome!
Are the games on there with much routine…ness? My family in California was bummed that they missed the one Patriots game that was on in a long time.
The Obama events have been filling fast. Apparently Americans like political candidates that don’t randomly burst into tears on the campaign trail. (What am I ever going to do if she wins the nomination?! I’ve been bashing her so much.)
Most of the Pats game were broadcast out here. There were a few that weren’t available (mostly when they were between two east-cost teams), and one that was only supposed to be broadcast on the NFL network (for-pay). It ended up being syndicated across two of the local networks because of the demand (that whole undefeated season thing), but I missed it (although I subsequently found it via another outlet).
although I subsequently found it via another outlet
Subtle. 😉
