Normally one sees a lot of mocked up or otherwise faked “computer technology” on TV shows. Recently on CSI:NY they used some real tech from Microsoft Research – Photosynth – on the show. You can read about it and see the clip on the Virtual Earth blog. Pretty cool stuff. I can’t wait until this stuff makes it out of the labs so more people can use it for real.
