Firefox 3, hot off the press!
I’ve been using it in beta for a while and was quite pleased. Today it was released in finished form, and developers are hoping for a record. So download it and give it a try. Internet Explorer users, you won’t be disappointed! (And it can even import your bookmarks and settings.)
Your link answers the one question I had: what was the previous record? And there isn’t one. So all this talk of them “breaking” the record is confusing.
I guess that means we set the record, then? Nothing like setting low standards. 😉
I think Guiness has some sort of criterion that determine exactly what constitutes a “world record” before there is a world record. That’s what I seem to recall, at least.
BTW did you hear that the Microsoft IE team sent the Firefox team a cake to help them celebrate their release?
Haha no, but that’s awesome.
Was it poisoned? 😉
