I’m selling a digital SLR camera, the Digital Rebel. I’m selling just the body and a battery, so you’ll want a lens and a CompactFlash card. (But you can get a 1GB CF card for $10-20, which will hold about 300 pictures.)
- 6 megapixels
- SLR body (a real camera)
- ISO100-1600 (and pretty clean at ISO1600!)
- Pretty clean condition, just a few minor scratches. (Nothing that impacts performance.)
- Reviewed here.
What happened is that I bid on a lot of two Canon digital SLRs. I got a great deal, but it’s silly for me to have two high-end cameras. So this way, I can minimize the damage I just did to my bank account, and you get a top-notch camera cheap. It’s a great step up: these were my first digital SLRs too, and I definitely don’t regret it.

All of these pictures, by the way, are linked to my Flickr account where you can view them full-size. These are straight out of the camera with no post-processing.

You can e-mail me at wagner_matt@bentley.edu. I’d be happy to let you come by and try it out. Remember, there is no lens, CF card, charger or cables included: just the camera body and a battery, for $300. You can get good deals on lenses on eBay, though, and the Digital Rebel takes the new EF-S lenses which tend to be light, cheap, and yet good. (I’d consider selling the lens I use now for another $50.)
