At 8MB writes and 10MB reads, it&#8217;s hardly blazing, but if you don&#8217;t do any high-volume activity, it&#8217;s not a bad deal.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, if you&#8217;re not looking for speed or name brands&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n    <li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newegg.com\/Product\/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211259\">8GB CF card<\/a>, $25.49<\/li>\n    <li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newegg.com\/Product\/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820183190\">16GB CF card<\/a>, $60.99. (Not cheap overall, but certainly cheap for a 16GB.)<\/li>\n    <li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newegg.com\/Product\/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211244\">32GB CF card<\/a>, $95.99.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They seem better-suited for a ultra-low-power PC than a camera, of course: no one needs a 32GB CF card, and the type of people that would &#8216;need&#8217; one are the type of people that couldn&#8217;t put up with anything but the highest throughput available.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kingston (who I never knew made CF cards) has a 4GB CompactFlash card for $24 at NewEgg.
