I find that I have a lot of things I want to post here, but I often lack the motivation to write a long, articulate post. Sometimes I just want to post a photo or embed a video or just share a link. I tried that with the ill-fated “micropost” idea that lasted a couple weeks and that even I didn’t find useful.<\/p>\n
I’m going to try to start using my matty.tumblr.com<\/a> account more often. To me, it’s entirely separate than my blog here. Here, I tend to post infrequent, longer posts, while the aim of my Tumblr account is more to just dump cool links and other stuff I happen across.<\/p>\n The main page was designed to just syndicate RSS feeds, so in theory I could add peoples’ Tumblr accounts there if desired. I’m not sure what to make of that, especially as the main page doesn’t do graphics very well right now.
