The Peruvian dog is hairless and, apparently, toothless. Which, I suppose, is <a href=\"http:\/\/ap.google.com\/article\/ALeqM5jeP6HvqN7bj0fG7EWMTMU9Bim40AD94A2MC81\">a good quality<\/a> when it comes to White House dogs.<\/p>\n<p>Without creating any international diplomatic catastrophes, I&#8217;d like to encourage Obama to reject this dog. I&#8217;m envisioning Obama in the Oval Office with his kids and a <a href=\"http:\/\/fabulousblueporcupine.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/05\/puppy1.jpg\">cute puppy<\/a>, not with a <a href=\"http:\/\/i110.photobucket.com\/albums\/n114\/corsiphoto\/275662.jpg\">frightening monstrosity<\/a> of a dog.<\/p>\n<p>That said, if he does become forced to accept this to stay on good terms with Peru, &#8220;Cheney&#8221; has a nice ring to it for a dog&#8217;s name.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Peru has apparently offered a dog to Obama after hearing of his plans to get his kids a dog for the White House, but also that one of his daughters has allergies, which is restricting their choice.
