The Devil’s Advocate
I like to try and convince people to think about matters in different ways, to see the other side of things whenever they present a thought or opinion. Katt will tell you that this quickly becomes tiresome (mostly because I play devil’s advocate even though I might agree with her). I believe that the more knowledge we have about an issue, the better-equipped we are to come up with a working solution. It can be very easy to just dismiss another side of a story or argument simply because you don’t agree with it.
Remember, the next time you’re in an argument or discussing an issue with someone, try looking at it through the lens of the opposite side. You might be surprised at what you see.
