655 pixels of width seems to be the sweet spot. I'll see what I can do with my next review item. :D

Ah, I resized them all for 1024 pixels of width. I'll make sure I go lower next time!

No, these don't go as ludicrously loud as the old ones did. As for the mic, time will tell if it was engineered well enough to avoid and connection problems. Heck, the last pair had a solid-looking plug connector and it still managed to malfunction. So far, so good though.

P.S. - The images you're using are big ones that the HTML renders at a smaller size. Not a biggie for us, but it'd really irk dialup users.

I've always resized in Photoshop to the desired size for display, just for better control over the appearance than letting the browser decide how to do it.

Between this and the tablet review, you've got two of your Electron Hut articles done for next year. ;)

Do these go as ludicrously loud as the old ones? (For those who weren't Kyle's roommate: he'd sometimes want to show people a video or something, and he'd take his headphones off and turn them up all the way. They were louder than my speakers.)

The collapsible mic looks like it'd be prone to a poor connection / eventually losing its connection, but I'm sure they were able to work around it somehow.

Forgetting you have headphones on is dangerous, although I suppose less so when it's cushioned headphones as opposed to earbuds. ;)

The price doesn't seem half bad, either.
