Jealousy

Illinois Senator Barack Obama is campaigning in Florida today. He’ll be in Connecticut Sunday to deliver the commencement address at Wesleyan University, in place of Senator Ted Kennedy.
Our speaker was alright, but he was no Barack Obama. And why did Wesleyan get Ted Kennedy, when he’s our Senator?!

A year from now you will not even remember who spoke at graduation. Those people at Wesleyan might though and that is what really bothers you doesn’t it?
I’m just a tad bit jealous that they get a Presidential candidate (my candidate, even!).
I wouldn’t say I’m all that upset in any case, just a wee bit jealous.
