As you’ll surely notice when you log in, the interface looks quite different. I’ve updated to WPMU 1.5.1, based on the 2.5-branch of WordPress. So far, so good; let me know if you find brokenness. Kyle could probably speak better than I can on what this version improves. (Hint hint, Kyle. ;))
