Wine for Dummies
As anyone who knows me knows, I adore highly user-friendly products. I believe something can be said for a product that anyone can pick up, and use. (By use, I mean use well.)
So when I stumbled upon this little gem I was pleasently surprised.
First off I should say that I don’t drink alcohol. I take a few medications, and the combination never produces anything good for me. (Also, I’m Asian, and suffer from the “Asian flush.”) So, I can’t say if their product is actually worth drinking, but the concept is neat.
Wine That Loves is a sub-group of a company that produces only five wines. Each wine is especially designed to go with a specific food type. For example: the wine called, “Wine that Loves Roasted Chicken” goes well with, guess what, roasted chicken.
What I think is so great about this is not only does the bottle explain why the wine goes well with meal, but also allows the user to taste the wine. Since people all taste differently newcomers to wine will start to taste what characteristics to look for.
Again, I haven’t actually tried their wines, so I cannot say if they are any good, but a cool introductory concept that I would be willing to try. (If I drank…)
