iPhone Price Reductions

Apple’s reduced the price on the 8GB iPhone by $200 — and decided to drop the 4GB model altogether. Until supplies are exhausted, the 4GB iPod is available at the Apple store for $299. I’m having a hard time coming up with a reason to get one. Except for that cancellation fee. And crippled bluetooth. And no SDK. Hmm…

Meanwhile, some of us were ready to spend $600… O:-)

Heh. Freudian slip? That was supposed to read, “I’m having a hard time coming up with a reason NOT to get one.”

I guess I am old school. Phones should be free or cheap with someone making money off the calls and data.

There’s an Apple store 10 minutes away. I’m tempted to go to that mall anyway tonight.

I couldn’t tell whether you were being wildly sarcastic in your post or not.

It’s funny, this morning I was thinking about them some more, unaware that the prices would come way down. And then I found this, an AIM client for it. It turns out it uses Installer.app, something I didn’t know existed.

Umm… That was odd. Maybe it’s just the link-containing ones?

    Test?

Apple has since decided to offer $100 in store credit to anyone who bought an iPhone before the announcement!
